After hearing things like:
+ I don’t know if I can use Stampin’ Blends
+ Stampin’ Blends intimidate me
+ I have a whole bunch of those Stampin’ Blends but I never use them because I am scared to
+ I would like to know the coloring basics with Stampin’ Blends
So it was time for me to make a series on these easy to use markers and put some relief in the minds of those nervous about taking a crack at coloring with them.
Welcome to week 2 of the Stampin’ Blends Series.
This week we will cover coloring basics with Stampin’ Blends. If you missed last week you can CLICK HERE to go to that blog post. It gives you the basics of what you need to know for using these markers.
Today’s video goes over some basic coloring concepts and techniques.
TIPS FOR COLORING:
+ 1: Use the darker of the two markers to add the shadows in areas that would be shadowed and then add the light color to blend it out.
+ 2: Color the entire image with the lighter of the two markers and then go in and add shadows in areas that would have shadows using the darker marker.
+ 3: Choose a marker and color the entire image all at once.
