This is probably my favorite stamp set in the holiday catalog.

All these elves are so dang cute and fun.

When I saw this set I knew that I would want to create scene cards with it. This is just one of hopefully many I will make over the next few weeks.

I wanted to make a card that felt like they were playing with the toys at the north pole.

The one thing I do not like about this card, is the bottom. I feel like there’s too much open space, but I didn’t have a great idea for it.

TIPS & INSTRUCTIONS

+ Cut the dome shape out first, then add the window sheet over the back of the hole you’ve just cut out.

+ Add sequins or other shaker bits to the back of the window sheet and add foam adhesive strips all the way around the dome piece.

+ Cover the adhesive foam with designer series paper or other cover to close up shaker. Whatever you want inside the shaker window be sure to add first.

+ All the elves are colored with Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends, Pool Party Stampin’ Blends and hand cut theme out with paper snips.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. (My dad passed last Dec., he is missed in body, in spirit, he’s home with our Lord and this I find a great comfort.)

(My dad passed last Dec., he is missed in body. In spirit, he’s home with our Lord and this I find a great comfort.) May you find comfort in our Lord as your pre-pare for grandpa’s going home . Personally, I view death as a celebration of eternal of life!

“We all have an expiration date” never heard it put quite that way but it is sad but true unfortunately. I am an RN but still have difficulty accepting that concept. It just seems that after all we go through to build a life for ourselves it ends with death. Seems there should be a better way but I guess our reward for it all is heaven. Hope that you , your family and you Grandpa find comfort and peace throughout this most difficult time. Now as to the card how would you glue the elf to the window sheet without the glue showing? Really cute card and I will be casing this one. Thank you for sharing this and by the way I like the stories that you share throughout your videos.

I have more of a question. What did you use to put over the top of the sno globe base? Was that a different die? Im having trouble finding that particular die. The die I found has a solid plain base.
I definitely will be ordering. Prayers for your family.
